I do not know about you but housework in my house feels never ending. You get it all clean and tidy, then a nearly two year toddler tornado comes through the house and completely gets rid of all your hard work so you have to start all over again!
I dislike ironing. I find it very boring and dull. I do not mind washing, drying and sorting the clothes but ironing to me seems a step too far. You would have thought they would of invented self-ironing clothes by now, wouldn't you?
I love having a dishwasher and I would cry a great deal if it ever broke down. It is my most used appliance. Washing up is ok but even then, doing loads of it especially if it is hard to wash roasting trays and so forth, it can become a real chore.
Hoovering is a task that I do not mind doing, however since having a toddler it does seem like another never ending task. Food and other bits seem to be dropped on the floor constantly regardless of however many times I vacuum. I would love a vacuum cleaner that is automatic and just sits in the corner of the living room and then goes and vacuums automatically once something has been dropped on the floor. It would make my life so much easier. Unfortunately, as far as I am aware this has not happened yet so while I am waiting for it happen, I will use my old faithful Dyson vacuum cleaner. I love how it cleans hard floors and carpets with ease. It has a long cord so I can vacuum my living room in one sweep without having move it to another plug. It is bagless and very easy to empty with the press of a button into any bin, further cutting down on mess. I love it! Thomas even has a toy version of his own now so he can 'help' me.
What housework tasks do you enjoy or not enjoy?
