On Sunday, I didn't feel very well so we had a restful day at home
On Monday, daddy came home from work and Thomas tried on his boots
On Tuesday, I made Mary Berry's spiced ginger & treacle Traybake.
On Wednesday, Thomas did some drawing on the iPad
On Thursday, it was my last day at work before maternity leave. I drove to Aylesbury and back for a meeting. Unfortunately, the hire car company decided I was a boy racer and gave me a turbo powered Toyota Yaris. I was glad to get back home at the end of a long day
On Friday, I went to the BBC Good Food Show Winter at the NEC. I briefly met James Martin and had lots of fun sampling loads of great products from lots of lovely producers
Today, we have been shopping to Makro. Thomas insisted on helping to push the trolley round the store
On Sunday, I made Nigel Slater's one pan Sunday dinner. It was delicious!
On Monday, I took Thomas to our local soft play with a friend and her son. Thomas loved it on the slides
On Tuesday, I went for a walk to get a bit of fresh air at work and took this photo of all the leaves on the ground
On Wednesday, Thomas and I tested the Leapfrog Creatively Camera for a review coming up soon on the blog. It is really easy to use. The case makes your iPhone into a child friendly camera for children. Thomas loved it! (He needs to practice his picture taking though!!)
On Thursday, Thomas and Daddy played with Lego, building a 'big house' (according to Thomas!)
On Friday, there was more Lego fun. This time they built towers instead!
Today is my godson Brendon's 6th birthday. We celebrated with chocolate cake which Thomas got all over his face and hands!
I was recently asked if I would like to receive a Project B pregnancy gift box to review. A Project B gift box is a monthly subscription service that you receive from month 4 of your pregnancy up to the month after you give birth. I was very impressed with most of the contents of my month 6 box, however I was slightly disappointed by the stretchmark cream. I really struggled to get it out the bottle and it seemed that you needed a lot of it to cover your bump. Photos of the box are below. I think they are a great treat when you are pregnant. We all need treats occasionally and having a treat through your letterbox every month related to where you are in your pregnancy seems a good idea to me.
Disclosure: I recieved a Project B month 6 box for the purposes of this review. All opinions are my own. I was not required to give a positive review.
