My Week That Was (W/E 31st December 2013)

This is technically my '10 days that was' however I have done this so my project 365 for 2013 is finished correctly. My first week of 2014 will be tomorrow (Wednesday) till Saturday. I am going to try and do a project 365 again in 2014 but may revert to a project 52 (a photo a week) if I start to struggle. Thank you for your support in 2013. It is greatly appreciated. I look forward to sharing our 2014 with you and our new adventures as a family of 4. Thank you to The Boy and Me for your continued inspiration and motivation for doing project 365. I intend to take your lead and use the manual settings of my DSLR more in 2014.

Happy New Year!!!

On Sunday, we had a relaxing day at home and Thomas watched TV with his snowman toy
On Monday, Thomas and I made mince pies together for the first time
On Tuesday (Christmas Eve), we left a glass of red wine and a homemade mince pie for Santa. The reindeers also got a carrot too
On Wednesday (Christmas Day), Thomas was a very lucky boy and got lots of presents. Here he is performing with his new guitar
On Thursday (Boxing Day), I cooked a traditional honey and mustard glazed gammon for Boxing Day tea at my mom and stepdad's.
On Friday, I cooked turkey curry using the leftovers

On Saturday, we went to a garden/aquatics centre to look at the fish

On Sunday, we went for a walk round a local park and fed the ducks in an attempt to encourage baby to make an appearance!

Yesterday, I made mincemeat flapjacks using leftover mincemeat. They are delicious!!

Today, we have been to a friend's house for a New Years Eve party. We are home now with Thomas sleeping soundly in bed and celebrating with a glass of Prosecco. I hope you all have a wonderful 2014 and I look forward to sharing the news of our new arrival with you soon!

Oh I’m a Prosecco girl too, much nicer than boring old champagne! Lovely photo of Thomas in the Sunday shot, and he looks like a natural guitar player.

Thanks for linking up to Project 365 this year and well done on completing the year.
