Sorry for the lack of blogging over the last couple of weeks. We enjoyed the sunshine during the Easter holidays and were exhausted by the end of the day and I had little time or energy for blogging. Here is what we got up too:
During the first week of the Easter holidays, we made Easter cards, cooked potato & leek soup, pretended to drive a tractor, took Thomas & Daniel to visit my work and visited a transport show at Weston Park
During week 2 we got a new washing machine, visited Whitlenge Gardens in Worcestershire, I finally got a photo of Daniel in his Easter bonnet, played with lots of friends and visited Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Park for their expansion launch and 65th Anniversary.
I have gone back to work for a rest LOL!
What have you been up to?
On Sunday, we went out for a belated Mother's Day treat. I ate this *small* chocolate cake for my dessert.
On Tuesday, there was a bit of difference in the weather from two years ago!
On Wednesday, I had a busy day at work
On Thursday, Thomas took me literally when I told him, he could lick the bowl!
On Friday, I made this large Malteaser bunny Easter inspired chocolate piñata cake
On Saturday, we chilled out and then went to the pub for a bit
Sorry I have been a quiet again. Here is a catch up of what we have been doing the last couple of weeks!
The first week was very busy as it involved making, decorating and eating cake!
Thomas had his first Mother’s Day service at preschool (I was nearly in tears!)
And, I had a rare night out seeing my favourite Meatloaf tribute band
The second week involved the little cow toy I was given for Mother’s Day moving onto its new home at my desk at work
I made even more cake! (Recipe here)
Thomas and Daniel played outside in for garden for the first time together this year
We went to West Midlands Safari Park
And finally Thomas disappeared but was replaced by Spider-Man!
What have you been doing?
